Arteris (AIP) - Is Nvidia a Secret customer of AIP ??
Loose lips seem to of disclosed a highly secretive customer for one of the most compelling small cap stocks in the market
Arteris is a company I recently started a long term position in. As the go-to provider of Network-on-Chip interconnect IP, Arteris powers billions of devices across automotive, AI, and datacenter applications. With 20% revenue growth in the last quarter and 90% margins it’s a cheap and compelling stock. It also has a a boat load of catalysts with FlexGen and more but that’s not the topic of this post you can find some extensive DD I have posted on the company on my X feed.
Here’s the story
This past Wednesday a French journalist made a linkedin post and article on the Arteris factory in france in the post she mentioned some of Arteris coustomers including Nvidia
As this post got circulated the stock made a strong move up over 15% on heavy volume. But as the day went on it suddenly faded the entire move and then some . Why ?
Well the French Journalist edited her post REMOVING Nvidia as well as the other suppliers mentioned putting in a entirely new list of customers!
A curious turn of events one that left me confused.
Was this random french journalist just making stuff up ?
Did she use some AI to polish up her post that inadvertently put in Nvidia as a customer ?
Or did someone she was speaking to at the French factory tell her information that was secret under NDA that they weren’t really allowed to disclose ?
Well we reached out the French Journalist and I think the answer to this question is exceedingly obvious ….
More time and DD is needed to fully appreciate the implications of Nvidia being a customer. But I do feel the likely NDA and definite level of secrecy behind this deal is bullish. Nvidia Generally discloses who they work with.
This makes Arteris a increasingly interesting company to watch especially as we expect to hear soon a update on FlexGen adoption.
I often find great stocks through such unexpected situations! Thanks for sharing.
